Community Guidelines

PanTake is committed to providing a safe and open space for everyone to share their views. In order to make sure everyone in the community is protected, we humbly ask that all users stick to the community guidelines below.

Identifying People 🫣

 

  • It’s ok to talk about public figures

  • It’s ok to talk about students who willingly put their names forward in public spaces (student assembly candidates, op-ed authors etc.) in the specific domain that they involve themselves in

  • It’s not ok to talk about other individuals unless you use initials exclusively. However, if the targeted individual requests removal, then the post will be removed. 

  • It’s not ok to share others’ personal information without their explicit consent



 

Discussions on identity groups 😤

 

  • It’s ok to discuss issues relating to identity groups assuming the discussion is backed by facts and statistics.

  • It’s not ok to initiate unfounded attacks in bad faith on identity groups



 

Bullying/harassment 😡

 

  • It’s not ok to bully other users under any circumstance

  • It’s not ok to threaten physical violence



 

Sexual content/pornography 😳

 

  • It’s ok to post sexual content or pornography only if it is made clear in the title. Please mention NSFW


 

Spamming/Trolling  🤯

 

  • It’s ok to troll as long as it is in good faith

  • It's not ok to troll by pretending to be an admin or moderator

  • It’s not ok to spam

Your identity will always be protected. Nobody — not even co-founders — sees the identity of posters. However, we do reserve the right to remove any user and any post that infringes on the community guidelines. Depending on the severity of the infractions, we may also decide to ban the account associated with the post. An account will be banned if we have to remove three posts with minor infractions. We are willing to review any post deletion or account removal upon request.
